BALYKINA atelier started its operations in September 2020. First, there were many experiments and attempts to create the distinct patterns characteristic of a modern brand. Special attention has been given to perfecting the craftsmanship of corsets and corset dresses, which are now exceptionally comfortable wardrobe pieces that add a touch of elegance and sophistication to any look.

The atelier’s team is like a big family, each new member joins us with recommendations from others. Every day, we strive to improve our work, exploring new ways to interact with fabrics and cuts. Most BALYKINA orders are tailored to individual measurements and color preferences, with each piece crafted with love, meticulous work, and attention to detail. Custom orders within the brand's identity, overseen by a single dressmaker from start to finish, can take up to three months. The creation process involves several meetings directly with the brand’s designer, Alina Balykina.

We nurture the skills of each team member: some excel at dressmaking, while others prefer working with corsets – everyone finds their place, sharpening their craft and developing their natural talents. The brand’s production is located in the heart of Kyiv.
